Walgreen’s. Gotta love the place. Headed down the road to stock up for the semester. The steal included:

  • two boxes of Kleenex at $2.19/ea
  • some “Deep Down” Pert Plus 2 in 1 shampoo plus conditioner at $3.49
  • two raspberry-scented Renuzits at $3.00 for the pair
  • four 40W extra soft light bulbs, $2.99
  • a sketchy-looking pseudoelectronic Gilette M3 Power razor on sale for $6.89
  • an 8-pack of AAA’s for said razor, $5.99
Not bad, but not exciting either. At least the room’s looking a little better after…

I doubt blogging about my boring to-do list is more productive than actually working on it, but hey.

In no particular order:

My year in review, as taken from this blog:

January: Getting ready for the spring semester. My current lineup includes such notables as Cognitive Psychology, a Logic class, and some Composition.
I took a pretty heavy blow Fall 2006 with my worst semester to date. In January, I dialed back on my courseload, vowing renewed vigor for the second half of my RA job, studies, and interpersonal interactions. Although my intentions were good, I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be too successful.

You’d think the extended holiday break would provide a little bit of spare time for blogging, but not really. It’s been pretty crazy, despite showing signs of winding down over the next few days. What’ve the last few days been full of, you ask?

Highlights include:

My dad’s persuasion has paid off— I decided to renew my Smugmug account for another year. I’ve been leaning towards unsubscribing for the past few months, mainly because I don’t use it much, and it’s a little too expensive for what it does, but an e-mail I received earlier today helped tip me in the other direction:

SmugMug now accepts video in almost any format and the display quality is stunning. Read more.
And the display quality is pretty stunning. I intend to revamp my Smugmug…

I can’t figure out why my blog posts are getting truncated en route to Facebook— it’s not Blogger, it’s not Facebook, and it’s not Tumblr; my best guess is that somehow the tumblog feed import automatically shortens full text entries. No good!

This just in: cod liver oil pills smell like crap. I can’t even imagine how they’re going to taste.

Edit: I can’t tell either why my new me.dium widget thinks I visit some pita bread website on a regular basis. I guess I’ll have to teach it that’s…

Now that Thanksgiving’s over, we’re down to the last four weeks of the Fall semester— two of classes, and two of exams. I think this is the furthest I’ve gone without getting too distracted by other things— leisure activities, sheer volume of workload, and so forth. I’m excited, because it looks like this semester’s going to wrap up swimmingly!

In the meantime, I’ve been spending a lot more time on Pownce, the Twitter-esque site founded by Kevin Rose, Leah Culver, et al.’s…
